Every campaign needs a slogan that fits on a hat, a yard sign and the inside of a voter’s skull. Most need a team of consultants and a year of polling to find one. Giant Meteor needed four words.
Just End It Already! Those four words cover the debates, the attack ads and the fundraising emails with subject lines in all caps. They cover the cable segment where two strategists agree to disagree about nothing. They cover the whole cycle, and the one after that.
The Just End It Already Giant Meteor Tee wraps those four words around a round badge in red, white and blue. Stars run across the top and stripes across the middle, a meteor is coming in hot, and GIANT METEOR 2028 holds down the bottom of the rim.
Wear it to the polling place, the family reunion or the bar with the news on mute. People will read it twice. The first time they laugh. The second time they agree.
The parties will spend billions next cycle telling you what’s at stake. This just end it already shirt tells you what’s coming.
